Updated April 2, 2020
As of March 18, 2020, Sonoma County was advised to “Shelter in Place”. This directive instructs individuals living in the county to shelter at their residence unless they provide essential services or engage in certain essential activities.
What does that mean for Kval business operations?
Kval’s top priority is the health, safety and well being of our employees. That being said, we have staff working remotely in Parts Sales, Machinery Sales, Program Trouble-Shooting and Remote Service.
Please continue to call us at (800) 553-5825 for questions, and feedback during this time.
We have a limited number of essential staff on-site and are currently able to process and ship parts orders at a reduced capacity due to social distancing. Expect delays in the ordering process, but know that we will do our best to prioritize the critical in-stock components first; back-ordered items will automatically ship out as soon as they are in-stock again. You will be notified via email (including a tracking number) once your back-ordered items have shipped.
We urge customers to order stock now while the mandated exemptions still allow us to be on-site.
As noted above, we have Service Technicians available for remote troubleshooting, phone support, and on-site service via car travel (on a case-by-case basis only). Air travel is suspended until further notice.
While previously able to proceed at a significantly reduced capacity, Kval machinery manufacturing is no longer deemed “essential” as of April 1, 2020. Therefore, we are required to halt machinery production until the current, extended, “Shelter in Place” directive expires on May 3, 2020. All machine ship dates have been pushed back approximately 1-month from their original date.
Our hearts go out to all those affected by COVID-19 and anyone impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. We will keep you informed as this situation progresses and please know that we value your continued support.
