Update Overview

As of March 18, 2020, Sonoma County has been instructed to “Shelter in Place”. This directive instructs individuals living in the county to shelter at their residence unless they provide essential services or engage in certain essential activities.

Kval is operating at a limited capacity under the “essential business” provision.

What does that mean for Kval business operations?

Kval’s top priority is the health, safety and well being of our employees. That being said, we have staff working remotely in Parts Sales, Machinery Sales, Program Trouble-Shooting and Remote Service.

Please continue to call us at (800) 553-5825 with any questions and feedback during this time.

Parts

We have a limited number of essential staff on-site and are currently able to process and ship parts orders at a reduced capacity due to social distancing. Expect delays in the ordering process, but know that we will do our best to prioritize the critical in-stock components first; back-ordered items will automatically ship out as soon as they are in-stock again. You will be notified via email (including a tracking number) once your back-ordered items have shipped.

We urge customers to order stock now while the mandated exemptions still allow us to be on-site.

Service

As noted above, we have Service Technicians available for remote troubleshooting, phone support, and on-site service via car travel (on a case-by-case basis only). Air travel is suspended until further notice.

Machinery

While previously able to operate at reduced capacity, Kval machinery-manufacturing had to cease production in compliance with the new “Shelter in Place” directive. directive released on April 1, 2020.

However, on April 16, 2020, Kval was confirmed as meeting the “Essential Business” classification and will resume machinery production, at a limited scale, on April 20, 2020. Unfortunately our production has been significantly impacted by this public health crisis and we are currently behind schedule by just over one (1) month. We are committed to making up lost time and minimizing this disruption; for an updated ship schedule please contact your Kval Sales Representative.
